Eve & Adam - Not So Good
Authors: Michael Grant and Katherine Applegate

And girl created boy...
In the beginning, there was an apple—
And then there was a car crash, a horrible injury, and a hospital. But before Evening Spiker’s head clears a strange boy named Solo is rushing her to her mother’s research facility. There, under the best care available, Eve is left alone to heal.
Just when Eve thinks she will die—not from her injuries, but from boredom—her mother gives her a special project: Create the perfect boy.
Using an amazingly detailed simulation, Eve starts building a boy from the ground up. Eve is creating Adam. And he will be just perfect... won’t he?
I wasn't going to read this book at first. But then I saw very many people on goodreads adding the book to their TBR and blah blah. And I was like I should give it a try. It will be just one more book to my read pile blah blah.
This is the first book I have read by Mr. Grant and Ms. Applegate Yes, I haven't read the Gone series or the Animorphs series. These two a married duo. I didn't know that. I only found after I read the beginnings of a few revies for this book.
The book is told from three perspectives. The male (Solo) and female (Eve) protagonist for the first half of the book and later on from Adam's POV.
The book started out good. I read it with anticipation but then when I got through half the book I got weary. I didn't feel anything about the characters. Now that I come to think of it I was reading this book like a zombie. I got bored. I skipped pages. This book could have done so much better. Like who gets to create a whole new person. This book didn't do it for me. I found it okay. Yeah, we already know nobody is perfect and perfect is boring. I gave this book two stars on goodreads. What I did like about the book is the cover. I like the whole robotronic apple thingy going on there. I like the color tones.
I wrote a longer review for this but an error occurred. Anyway, it was a long drag. So, this is good. I hope you get what I'm trying to say about my feelings. Will I recommend the book? Not really. I didn't love this book. You might even like the book. Our perceptions are bound to differ.
Have you read this book? How'd you find it?
