Neverfall - More Cole

Neverfall
Everneath #1.5
Brodi Ashton

December 26th  2012

A thrilling new novella from the author of the Everneath series!

Jack is trapped for eternity in the Tunnels while Nikki has managed to evade Cole's grasp . . . for now. But Cole is more desperate than ever to find answers about Nikki, his best chance for taking over the throne of the underworld. How did she survive the Feed? Can Cole find another Forfeit like her who can survive it too?

Cole's quest leads him to the other side of the world, to a mysterious, dangerous society known as the Delphinians, whose price for information might be higher than Cole can pay—a price that could destroy Nikki. But when Cole attempts to steal the answers instead, his mission ends in disaster. Faced with centuries in a Delphinian dungeon, Cole is confronted with questions he's been too scared to ask himself: Is he really obsessed with the throne—or is he obsessed with Nikki? And can she really give him a new beginning as the Everneath's king . . . or will she instead bring about his tragic end?

I haven't posted for quite a while now. My sis and her kids are over and I have been busy with them xP. Anyway, I managed to read a handful of books in that time.

Now, you all know I am a fan of Brodi Ashton's Everneath and I loved Cole from this epic tale of Everlings, Forfeit and the Underworld.
This short novella was set after the time Jack took Nikki's place in the Tunnels with Cole going down the memory lane in between. This was a short read but I didn't have the time to read it and I had to keep getting up :( so I finished it later than I would have :-/
I loved it. It was good to see how Cole finally realized that he was in love with Nikki. Why are guys so stupid? Anyway, I am excited for Everbound  like hell now. I loved the second half of this short novella-- I love the way Brody writes her books. Gah, I love it.
It was nice to read about the other Dead band-mates. I love the world created by Brodi really much.
I don't know what else to write but just that this was a goodish read and made me psyched up for the major installment in the trilogy. As major answers were revealed.

Read Everneath and then this novella if you haven't already as you won't be disappointed with where the story takes you.
Teaser Quote:

'"I don't want to find another Forfeit. I don't want anyone else. I only want you."'
My Rating:
What did you think about it? Would you give yourself to the Tunnels for someone?

Happy Reading.
