Guest Post | THE DOUBT FACTORY | Review
My sister was kind enough to read and review The Doubt Factory that I won in the goodreads first-reads giveaway.
I wanted to read this book as it looked good because of the cover. The one eye looks quite dramatic and its name suggested that the story was going to be mysterious and about hidden messages. You know *whispers* the illuminati.
The plot was quite good. Most of the information provided I have heard about through rumors or the said conspiracies.
Alix was quite bold and I liked her for her boldness. Being bold is one thing we always look for in ourselves.
I liked the part where all the characters were described as glassware in a thrift store. Even though not expressive (but caring), the relationship between Alix and her brother was quite lovely. Plus the hackers were way genius then all the spies working in secret agencies. (I think!)
From the moment the story began I had this feeling that there was going to be some strong connection between our heroine and the bad guy. And to find about whether that connection ended in good terms or not you have to read the story for yourself.
The one thing I didn't like about this book was its predictability. Also I think I would have enjoyed the story more if I had been a teenager.
